De: Attain to, Pai: School

Before becoming involved in Dharma practice, Jamie came from a background of computer science. Specialising in Artificial Intelligence, he was fascinated by the nature of consciousness. His study of the nature of the consciousness and the consciousness of nature pushed him to the very edge of his own.

He happened across the teachings of The Chinese Esoteric School randomly, the day after leaving a job in computing. He learned Prajna Akasa’gharba from a student in the UK, and was very interested to know more.

When he had the opportunity to meet Dechan Jueren, he sensed the peace and understanding of the Master, and quickly decided to pursue the path that had opened up to him. He is glad that he followed this intuition, as it quickly became clear to him what a rare opportunity it was to meet, let alone learn from, a person with such an advanced consciousness and valuable teachings.

For him, these teachings are not something to be understood intellectually. Their greatest value is in the investigation and application of their effects. He aspires to help free as many people as possible from suffering.

Jamie is in the process of establishing solid teaching groups around Essex and the UK. Although on a steep learning curve, he hopes to walk in the footsteps of those who came before him, and help to change people lives for the better!
